Hales Heroes Shout Outs

 Lacey

“The care that my mum has been given and compassion that she has been shown is remarkable. Patience, skill, and professionalism have shone through everything from the very beginning and we are very grateful indeed.

I wanted to particularly mention yesterday when I took my Mum, who has severe dementia, to the Naval and Military club (the only place she is now happy and comfortable to go), we were discussing who had visited her and after saying “no one”, but then thinking, she said Lacey.

Now Lacey is not a common name, Mum has never met anyone else called Lacey, and is struggling to get the names of her own family members right almost all of the time, but she remembered Lacey; the girl who cares for her and makes everything fun and memorable.

Clearly Lacey has a gift for this type of work and we are so pleased she is part of the team looking after mum.” – Phil (Son of Service User)

Swaffham Team

“Just a little note to say thank you for all the care you give our Dad. You are all amazing!” – Daughter of Service User

Selina Goodrum and Justine Emmett-Moore

“I would like to thank Selina and Justine, who took over when I became violently sick over the weekend. They made sure Mrs. H had food and her meds, and calmed her down when she was worried and upset over my incapacitation. Thankfully it appears to have been a 48 hour bug and I am feeling much better now.” – Husband of Service User

Diane Head

“The family would like to thank all carers and medical staff for their excellent help during these trying times, with a special thank you to Diane, the carer, that was with Mr J. right until the last day” – Family of Service User

A simple gesture can brighten up someone’s day. At Hales, we believe in recognising hard work and excellence within our teams, contributing to a culture of appreciation, community, and kindness.
